In Freedom Kids, we point children towards Jesus in a fun, safe environment. By partnering with parents, we aim for kids to begin a lifelong relationship with Christ and empower the next generation to embrace God's plan for them.
About
Freedom Church offers programs for children who are 6 weeks old through 5th grade. Through interactive bible stories, song, art, & games, your children will not only have a great time but will be excited to learn more about Jesus in a safe, & structured environment.
Your First Visit
When you visit Freedom Kids for the first time, find the ‘Kids Check-In’ sign upon entering. Our team will welcome your family and help you check your child in at a kiosk. A volunteer will then escort your child to the suitable age group room. Once settled, you're invited to The Hall for some coffee before taking your seats for service.
Check-In
Before Service: Check in your child at the Freedom Kids desk or via our CHURCH CENTER APP if you're a returning guest. Both you and your child will receive matching name tags unique to your visit. Your child should wear theirs, while you keep the security tag.
During Service: Should your child need you, we'll text you directly. If contacted, please leave The Hall promptly and a team member will guide you to your child’s room.
After Service: To pick up your child, present your security tag at their room for your child to be released back to you.
Your Kids Are Safe
Volunteers at Freedom on campus are trained to create an atmosphere where families can confidently leave their children while they are in service. Every volunteer is screened with a background check and the kids hallway is monitored by security personnel. Don't worry parents - we've got this!
Orange Curriculum
Freedom uses the Orange Curriculum to unite leaders and parents in inspiring the next generation to love God and serve others. Kids enjoy interactive, age-appropriate lessons about God's love, designed for all learning styles and packed with fun. Parents are supported in continuing their child's faith journey through weekly devotions and monthly learning updates.
Special Needs
Freedom Church is a place where families find support and connection. Our Freedom Kids Team, trained by licensed play therapist Peri Reed of Shreveport Counseling & Restoration, is dedicated to ensuring every child, including those with special needs, feels safe and valued. We also offer a "Calming Corner" equipped with sensory tools and noise-canceling headphones to help kids relax and refocus.
Child Dedication
Child dedication is a special moment where parents commit to raising their child in faith and seeking God’s guidance in their journey. It’s a declaration to lead by example and invite the church to support them. Sign up to dedicate your child to the Lord!
